YOGA CLASSES IN ANTIPAROS

The word "yoga" is Sanskrit and literally means union while contextually denotes the union of opposing forces, the union of the upper with the base level, the inner with the external, the connection and the harmony of the levels of existence.

Yoga is a method of right body posture and respiratory exercise which improves the physical condition, the emotional balance and the mental evolution. Throughout aligned, conscious postures (Asanas), the body strengths while is improved its flexibility and resistance. The conscious dynamic stay at the Asanas helps the right posture of the body, the ability to concentrate and offers deep relaxation. Through the calm and controlled breathing (Pranayama), the trainee achieves spiritual calm, self-control and concentration.

The regulation of the breathing circle cleans the non-spiritual body from any blockage, and is achieved the development of positive thinking, visioning and union at all levels of existence (non-spiritual - energetic / cognitive / psychic - spiritual).

The practitioner in yoga improves their self-confidence and puts into operation internal forces, energy channels that respond to neural clusters in the spine.

 

Vinyasa Flow

In Yoga, there is the idea of Vinyasa, a practice that has continuous flow and evolution, as happens in our lives. The word vinyasa can be translated as "I place in a row and in a specific way" while the word flow is attributed as "uninterrupted flow from the beginning to the end." Nothing is cut off from the time before and after. Everything is changing and everything is in a flow. For those who want to know the philosophy of Vinyasa flow, they should focus on the right alignment, and learn how to connect each breath with their movement and intention. During these classes, we use means of support such as belts, blocks to enhance your understanding, and some postures to be more accessible. At the end of the course follows a part of relaxation and meditation.

Traditional Hatha

These yoga classes appeal to those who have no previous experience in Yoga, but want to learn and experience the benefits of this practice Understanding the postures is necessary to build a strong foundation and gain strength and self-confidence. Discover your body, how it works, and what it can do for you! This lesson will help you to understand the correct alignment of postures and the technique of breathing. We use the techniques of hatha yoga-asana, pranayama, bandhas. During these classes, we use means of support such as belts, blocks to enhance your understanding, and some postures to be more accessible. At the end of the course follows a part of relaxation and meditation.

Asthanga Primary Series

Astana Yoga (yoga of eight stages), as taught by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, leads to awareness, deep inner peace. It is not achieved with hard work. It is the true identity of awakening our existence, which we all already possess to some extent, since wisdom and tranquility are gifts that have been given to us. The challenge is to discover them. This approach is a foundation and therefore absolutely necessary for our practice. Awakened consciousness with characteristic elements of inner peace, concentration and energetic vitality is our love for all - there is no barrier between ourselves and those we love.
Meditation (Diana - seventh stage) reveals that objects, perceptions and thoughts are not permanent but are born only when other conditions for their existence are completed. Just sit down!
The Pranayama (fourth stage) is an intermediate element, a missing link, the transition from the external to the internal practice.
